“So what are these rules,” Jack asked Bianca suspiciously.
“Well, no dating obviously, no tongue kissing . . . No sex, of any kind—if you wouldn't want to see your parents do it, it counts as sex. Then we each pitched two hundred dollars into the pot for the winner to spend on a gorgeous pair of shoes.”
“Six hundred dollars for a pair of shoes? Are you serious?” Jack boomed. “That's crazy.”
“No, it’s not. That's a fabulous pair of shoes to be worn on her first date of the new year,” Bianca said with deep desire lacing her voice. “I'd do just about anything for a great pair of shoes . . .” she mumbled as she put her margarita glass to her lips.
